Governance as a feature
Database-backed typed settings with application and project scoping, global versus per-app values, and admin-restricted flags - every row carrying full audit columns. Role-based governance gives administrators full CRUD while everyone else reads scoped values.
Sensitive values are encrypted at rest, and a distributed cache-invalidation mechanism hot-reloads configuration across sibling applications without redeploys - fire-and-forget, so the suite keeps moving.
